  • It is with a heavy heart that I write that today we had to say goodbye to our gorgeous boy Teddy. He was such a brave boy and we would like to thank all who helped with his illness. The vets at the Animal Health trust were fabulous as were our own vets at London Road, Kings Lynn. Goodnight my sweet boy, back with your mum now.

  • After ending 2010 on a low with Teddy, (Orsacchiotto Parsley) being diagnosed with lymphoma we were looking forward to a new year, Sadly 2011 was not going to be that and I am sorry that the website was not kept up to date. In May we found our old goat Eva had died overnight in her sleep. She was approx 14 years old and a real character. June came and we lost Whisper, (Orsacchiotto Foxy Red). Whizz had not really been ill and although no tests were done to confirm it we feel that she may have had cancer of the spleen like her mother and after what we think was a massive bleed and a very weak heart we had to say goodbye to her. This was a double blow to us as she was the last link to our friends Margaret and Ron Warne. Then in July we found Crystal in the field with what turned out to be a broken leg and had no alternative but to say another goodbye to another one of our beloved pets. In December after 2 years 3 months post diagnosis, Flossie (Dapplewood Florence Amber)suddenly lost her fight. She was our first spinone and a great ambassador for the breed. We were devastated. Realising that cancer was cropping up in my breeding line a decision was made to spay Jinx (Orsacchiotto Life Ambition) and for the moment we will be having no more litters (Please contact me for details of friends litters though). As I type this update, Teddy has come out of remission and we are praying that a different chemo will get him back in. I have now got a real interest in Canine Cancer and am always happy to talk to anyone who may be in the same situation as we find ourselves in.

  • 9th October 2010. Having decided to enter the show ring again, today I took Teddy (Orsacchiotto Parsley) to South Wales. Teddy doesn't "do" mornings so I was absolutely thrilled when he won his first challenge certificate under judge Jean Lanning.

  • 18th August 2010 We have much to celebrate this month. Firstly my gorgeous girl Flossie is celebrating 12 months post op. That is a sentence I never thought I would be typing. Here's to the next twelve months and secondly we would like to announce the arrival of Stanley, Piccolonoce Muddle. Stanley is our first brown roan and we are looking forward to campaining him in the show ring.

  • Today the 21st August 2009, I learnt that my darling Flossie has hemangiosarcoma, this is a very aggressive cancer. We will fight this disease to the very end but I now have to announce that she has retired from the show ring. Never making a Show Champion (2 CC's and 1 RCC) but always a champion to me.
